Jamaican Moon 2012
This painting is acrylic on canvas. It was created in only an hour, inspired by a photo that I noticed in a painting instruction book. The composition looks inviting and calm, just like a moonlit night in Jamaica.
The island of Jamaica is home to some beautiful resort areas. Montego Bay was especially amazing at night! I loved the quiet sound of the waves moving in and out over the shore as the distant thunderheads presented their gorgeous lightning display every night.
