“After the Storm I” 2002
A severe storm can be destructive. In this painting, the storm has ceased but the grass is still crushed and the wind still whirls. Yet soon the land will recover.
So it is with us. The storms of life bring many tests and trials. These events, however, can build our character. When we look back, after things calm down, we gain insight and realize that we’ve been made stronger by them.
The painting is acrylic on canvas board. It is a complement to “After the Storm II”.
