“Clair de Lune” 2003
This piece was created for display in the studio of a local massage therapist. She wanted a peaceful setting that her clients could see while receiving a massage.
I used pastel on black velour to present a subtle night time scene with a soft moon over the mountains. It reminded my piano instructor, John Toedtman, of Debussy’s musical piece entitled “Clair de Lune”.
A copy of this drawing hangs in the Toedtman School of Music in Cincinnati.
