TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching in Public Schools and Homeschool Cooperatives has provided me the opportunity to use art to help individuals with learning disabilities, such as Autism, Attention Deficit Disorders and Down’s Syndrome.

In 2005 I opened a Private Art Studio at the Toedtman School of Music in West Chester, OH. Many of the music students expressed an interest in private art instruction.

In 2007 I decided to offer formal art lessons to students of all ages. As a complement to the school’s musical endeavors, we transformed the lobby and halls into a gallery of my artwork and the students’ artistic creations. It was an honor to be a part of the Toedtman School of Music from 2007-2020.

In 2021 I moved my Art Studio to Hamilton, Ohio where I continue to teach individualized drawing and painting lessons.

MY ARTWORK

The main focus of my work is landscape using pastel, acrylic, graphite and watercolor.  I often incorporate collage materials to create interesting forms, textures and depth.

You can browse My Gallery for examples of my drawings, paintings, and mixed media.
